At Acton Academy Calgary Central, our admissions process is intentionally personal, designed to ensure that our philosophy and your family’s goals are aligned. We take the time to get to know each family and ensure every child will thrive in our learner-centred environment.

These sessions offer a glimpse into what learning looks like at Acton Central, where independence, curiosity, and character take center stage.
Once you’ve learned a bit about Acton Central, complete our two-step application form. After submitting the first part, you’ll receive a second link by email to complete your application.
When both parts are received, we’ll reach out to schedule a family meeting and a trial experience for your child, which is a short visit to experience our environment firsthand. This 45-minute meeting helps us get to know your family while your child explores our classroom and community.
Please note, if you’re applying for a future year, the trial visit will take place in the spring before the September start to ensure alignment and readiness.
After the meeting and trial day, our Admissions Team reviews each application with care. If it feels like the right fit, you’ll receive an enrollment contract.
To confirm your child’s place, a non-refundable enrollment deposit is due within two weeks of acceptance.
This deposit secures your child’s spot and is applied to the final months of tuition (May and June). At the same time, families can choose between a lump-sum or monthly payment plan (via credit card, post-dated cheques, or pre-authorized debit).
If no immediate opening is available, your application will be placed in our pool of prospective students.This is not a numbered waitlist; instead, when a space becomes available, we review the pool to maintain balance and fit within each classroom.
Mid-year applications are always welcome and will be considered as space allows.
Returning learners always receive priority for re-enrollment. If you intend for a sibling to enroll, please complete both parts of the sibling’s application by December 15 so it can be reviewed during the priority window.

Wonder (Early Learning)
At Acton Academy Calgary Central, tuition reflects our commitment to providing a rich, hands-on learning environment that nurtures curiosity, independence, and character. As a non-profit school, every dollar goes directly toward supporting our learners, guides, and programs — not shareholders.
We know that choosing an independent education is a significant investment, and we aim to make it as transparent and accessible as possible. Families can choose from several payment options and incentives that reward early commitment and simplify planning.
For families enrolling in Kindergarten and above, early full-payment discounts and sibling reductions are available.

Early Payment Discounts
Lump Sum Discounts
*Families who enroll and pay in full by December 31, 2025, qualify as Founding Families and receive a 20% tuition discount for all children in the same household. This discount continues each year the family remains enrolled through Grade 12.
Sibling Discount
Families enrolling more than one child receive a 10% tuition reduction for the second and subsequent learners in Kindergarten and above.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made by pre-authorized bank debit (preferred), credit card, or cheque.

Deposit Reminder

Acton Academy Calgary Central participates in the Alberta–Canada Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) Affordability Grant for our licensed early childhood programs.

The grant is confirmed through March 31, 2025, and may change thereafter. If the program changes or concludes, we’ll provide families with as much notice as possible.
