Preschool and Elementary School Tuition & Fees

2026-27 School Year

At Acton Academy Calgary Central, our school tuition reflects our commitment to providing a truly exceptional education. As a non-profit elementary school, every dollar goes directly into creating the best possible learning environment-smaller class sizes, world-class learning tools, and a curriculum that goes far beyond the traditional Alberta curriculum. Our learner-driven approach nurtures curiosity, independence, and critical thinking in ways conventional schools often can't.

We invest in more personalized mentorship, hands-on projects, and real-world skill development that prepare students not just for tests, but for life. This isn't your typical classroom-and the value of that difference is reflected in our schools tuition. If you're looking for more than the status quo, we invite you to explore what your investment in Acton Central can mean for your child's future.

We are extremely happy with our son's experience at Acton Academy Calgary Central. In just two months...

...he has become more social, more confident, and much more fluent in English. He loves the bi-weekly field trips, and we truly appreciate the small class ratio, which allows the teachers to give each child real attention and care.
The Acton Central community has also been wonderful for us as parents. Their guidance on how to communicate with and support our children has been very helpful. Daily updates through the Transparent Classroom app let us see what our son is learning, which makes our conversations at home so much more meaningful.
We are grateful for everything here and highly recommend Acton Central to families looking for a warm, supportive, and inspiring learning environment.
If other parents want to know more or would like us to share our experience, we are happy to help. We hope this will help other families in their decision.

Annie Ho
Parent at Acton Central

Parenting is a journey, and I see myself as a co-learner alongside my children.

Acton Central provides valuable opportunities for parents to reflect more deeply on our practices. I truly enjoyed the parent coffee meeting discussion and appreciate the effort Acton Central puts into connecting with families while sharing important values and concepts that support children's development.

Grace Shieh
Parent of a 4-year-old

I am very grateful that my two children attend Acton Central. Since starting they have become notably more able to focus on tasks...

...and excited about mastering the new skills they are acquiring. Academically, in just a couple of months, I've noticed a clear improvement in their literacy and numeracy skills with a continuous desire to learn or practice more. Acton Central is providing my children with the individualized attention that supports them to confidently learn at their pace, but efficiently as well.

Maria
Mother of a 4 and a 6 year old

After School Programming

Enrichment Programs

Between Session Programming

At Acton Central, the academic year is structured into multiple 5- to 7-week sprints, each centered around an immersive learning experience and theme known as a Quest. These focused learning periods are strategically aligned with Alberta’s statutory holidays, allowing families the flexibility to recharge together and/or travel during off-peak times.

Between sprints, we intend to offer optional recreational-focused childcare, ensuring a balance between structured learning and leisure activities. This care is also provided on PD days.

The price will be based on number of participants to cover the operating expenses. Options include:

  • Regular Day (8:30am – 3:30pm)
  • Extended Day (8:30am – 5:30pm)

*Please note the total number of 'days off' is the same as the traditional academic calendar.

We believe that learning to do, learning to be, and learning to learn are more important than memorization.
